Brenda Denbesten is a chemical engineer with over 15 years of experience in the mining and manufacturing industry. Originally from Zimbabwe, she moved to Australia to pursue her engineering degree in order to commence a career in cosmetics manufacturing, but she ended up turning dirt into gold in the mining industry and hasn’t looked back since.
She is passionate about giving back to the industry and over the years has won scholarships for women in leadership, participated in university and company graduate open days, as well as being invited to speak to multiple groups about the numerous opportunities in engineering.
More recently she has commenced coaching women in male-dominated industries to increase their impact and create a purpose-driven career.
