In this episode, Arika Davenport shares her story of leaving her job to step into the role that God has called her to - helping busy moms identify, utilize, and monetize their God-given gifts to create a real impact in the world.
"Before I became a purpose coach and before I launched my platform She Pursues Purpose, I was a woman who had lost her identity. As a wife, a mother, and an employee, I lost who I was as an individual; I didn't know what I like to do. I felt like something was missing. I knew that there was more, but I didn't know what that was. I didn't know where to start. I eventually went on what I call my own personal spiritual retreat right at home. And it's where I began to connect with God. "
In the pursuit of my own purpose, I realized over time, that God had been equipping and showing me how to help other women just like me, discover their purpose. So it started off with just this personal journey, but I quickly realized that I wasn't the only woman who lost her identity and that I wasn't the only woman who knew that there was more but didn't know where to start. So in this personal pursuit, I started my business to help women to discover their gifts and strengths, and pursue their purpose.
