After contracting the West Nile virus at the age of 3, which triggered severe brain trauma, doctors told Latrina that her son's diagnosis was "not good." While agonizing whether her son would live or die and sitting alone for days in the hospital without anyone from her family by her side, Latrina reached out to God to let her son live.
