Who is ready for the newness? Life is about to look really different than it has. Triggers are going to knock at our door to see if we are ready to grow. Routines, schedules and fears are setting in. Notice how the thought patterns start to creep in as we anticipate structure, implementation and growing change. Dynamics are shifting and relationships are altering as we come together in the setting of attending school. My dream is that school gets to be fun, playful and outdoor based. My dream school is social-emotionally focused so kids can feel empowered to create. My hope is that the pressures that occur propel us into learning at the next level. Support is crucial now more than ever. I will always encourage bringing your voice. What feels uncomfortable, avoidant or unpleasant. If I can figure out what feels scary, I can choose what my learning looks like moving forward. Can we have challenging dialogue as a family, in a place that feels somewhat comfortable within the chaos or in the overwhelm? What feels scary, silly or dumb about school? Let's invite the honest conversation between our children. Their fears and worries are real, true and valid. If we get to know them, we get to know their current outlook. Stay hydrated, stay rested, stay nourished, breathe, submerge yourself in cold water, whatever creates a feeling of being truly alive. Whatever connects you to your present moment experience is implementing self care. Who are you connecting with that cares about you? Are you able to check in with your past self or future self? I know for myself, they are my greatest confidants. How can I love on you more today? http://www.magicmomentsplay.com
