Hannah Horowitz hails from Sonoma, California and came into her own in New Orleans, Louisiana. She holds a BA in English and Sociology, an MA in English Lit, and an MA in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling. Her early love of language and stories is an integral piece of what brought her to therapeutic work. Hannah’s work is also informed by living and traveling in a variety of countries. She is grateful everyday that she gets to do work so intimately with people; she can truly think of no higher honor than walking the path of so many of life’s big questions with her clients. In her work, Hannah honors the complex mixture of external and internal influences that fashion how we show up in this world. She has a particular love for helping people engage with all pieces in themselves - from cultural influences to early childhood experiences to personality structures - and believes that, by getting to know all parts of ourselves, we can compassionately and wisely grow. Hannah’s work is enhanced by a lens focused on the body, systems, and developmental awareness. Special interests include existential and spiritual questioning, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. Hannah delights in learning about health and wellness, talking about the enneagram, and eating raspberries. http://www.magicmomentsplay.com
