Synopsis: Tonight (6/8/23), in our last Thursday Night Pirkei Avos shiur of the season, we learned that God "loves" all human beings, but He loves Israel more, and may love certain members of Israel even more than that. Tonight we relied exclusively on the Sforno as our guide. By learning his commentaries on Avos, Bereishis, and Devarim, we were able to arrive at an understanding which was clear, practical, and even inspirational - a fitting way to end this year of Pirkei Avos learning. I look forward to resuming in the fall (בג"ה)!
