I'll be headed to Virginia Beach in July for their 1st annual carnival festivities. Since I've lost a taste for many of the longstanding U.S. based Caribbean carnivals, I figured I'd give VA Beach a try. The events begin on July 20th and run through the 23rd.
Honestly, my July was looking pretty uneventful before this popped up. What better way to occupy myself than with a new local-ish experience! I'm joined on the episode by the event's Public Relations Representative and host, Donovan Longmore.
