Spin Doctors/Solo Artist-Drummer Aaron Comess talks his love for NY and the process of moving there some 30 years ago from Texas/30 years of the Spin Doctors, recounting the years of studying w/ various drum instructors in Texas leading up to him studying at Berkley and the New School in NY, the diverse music scene of the 90's. playing five nights a week in NYC in the late 80's, the slow burn and ultimate meteoric rise of Pocket Full of Kryptonite, the early years of what became the "jam band" scene w/ Blues Traveler & Aquarium Rescue Unit, working with producer Eddie Kramer on the Stone Free; Jimi Hendrix Tribute, drummers in the age of the internet vs the pit falls of social media, his solo projects/ working with Mark Guiliana & JoJo Mayer, being a father and balancing touring, the epiphany he had playing in a wedding band at a young age, plus the myriad projects and other artists he's working with in 2019!http://www.aaroncomess.com/
