Around the holidays I find myself overwhelmed by how much is going on – the loudness, the cacophony of conversations, the smells of food, the different foods, the perfumes and different fabric softeners people have on their clothes. The movement, the colors, the flashing lights of Christmas decorations, the music, the decorations, the constant onslaught of stuff that takes over my space.
I discovered through the putting away of the holidays how much I value space, quiet, and the need for quiet recovery time.
Sometimes we need to accept the parts of ourselves that we don’t like so much. Making space for the truth of us helps us get through. It’s ok to see yourself honestly, to acknowledge your difficulties, and have love for yourself anyway.
Your donations mean the world to me and allow me to continue to create content each week. I ❤️you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thanks for listening!
