We examine the authoritarian politics of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. In 2010, Orban rapidly seized control of Hungary's democracy by rewriting the constitution, curbing the power of the judiciary, and regulating the media. His power is near absolute. He is constructing an "illiberal democracy" in hopes of spreading his conservative-authoritarian ideology across the world. Enjoy!
