The human brain is one of the most complex and powerful structures in the world. The more science has progressed, the more we realize how little we actually know about our brains, and the more we understand just how incredible they are. This week's guest is professor Dr. Kendra Seaman. Kendra taught 6th grade science with Teach for America before she completed a master’s and PhD at The Catholic University of America. She completed a postdoc in the Motivated Cognition and Aging Brain Lab at Yale and Duke Universities before joining the faculty at UT Dallas in 2019. Kendra’s research is dedicated to using basic and translational scientific research studies to promote health and wellbeing across adulthood.
