Welcome back to LIKEITORNOT & our infamous ROADHOUSE Editions! This one took place last week, in true ROADHOUSE fashion, when Leo and I met up for the tote bags and to do a little episode on our collab. It was the same night QJ was dj’n for Bxmmer at JAZZBONES for the Aaron Carter show, no cap. We’d been lounging in the Flea all day, taking care of other business, when Baloogz aka SPLASH himself, rolls up at closing time with slushies, sandals & sunglasses, and NO I.D.! The man had no true destination so I invited him to sit down with us for a quick episode. What ensued was history. I learned about a 3am gyro spot on 6th Ave but haven’t seen if it’s tru yet. I talk about GYRO ZONE cause it’s the best and we play the whole GIMME INDIE ROCK album by Matson, Khris P & Glenn, also engineered by Splash. We show love to TBG & Domestic Terrorizm 2 & Baloogz delves in to some behind the scenes stuff about he and Perry Porters forthcoming album that is truly highly anticipated. We talk about Scotty Hyp and the Fletch Lives mixtape and all the heavy hitters on there and s/o the man himself, Awall aka 2piece and BLOCKREPP, as a whole.
