Description

Jacqui Simpson and I met many years ago in Sydney when we both worked for the P&O Group. I knew we were going to be firm friends when we were on a business trip in London together. One of us was having a very bad day and so we snuck out of our office on Pall Mall and headed to Fortnum & Mason for champagne and afternoon tea. Any problem can be fixed over bubbles (right?) and anyone willing to be a partner in crime when things are tough will always be in my life.

Over Jacqui’s career she has been a key member of executive teams managing businesses through structural change, intense competition, regulatory reform and diverse economic conditions. She has worked across diverse geographies and industries including shipping and logistics, stevedoring, facilities management, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, professional services, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing and retail.

Jacqui recently expanded her skill set by undertaking a Masters of Technological Futures, building a whole toolbox of new capabilities in emerging technologies and the digital economy. Her consultancy, Capable Cultures continues to deliver leadership development and capability building initiatives with great clients. Her superpower is in bringing research validated approaches to life through the power of storytelling from her own lived experience.
