Description

Dr Raj Sundar, is a family physician and health equity leader at Kaiser Permanente. He also hosts the Healthcare for Humans podcast, dedicated to educating clinicians to care for diverse communities so patients feel heard, seen, and known, which in turn will lead to better and more equitable health outcomes.

He believes that health practitioners need to build cultural competence and take responsibility for understanding their local community, to build a relationship together with their patients.

He’s at the start of his journey in working out how to do this and has an incredible passion for making a long-term contribution to better health care for all.
