Well Josh has been talking about comics since the beginning of this movie podcast, so it was only a matter of time before he hounded one of his favorite writers Joshua Dysart (writer for Harbinger, Goodnight Paradise, Unknown Soldier, Swamp Thing, Brood X and much more), to record an episode. Jesse tried his very best to join the recording for this week but for crazy fandom reasons that only a true fan of the arts would understand, Josh sabotaged him. Don't worry Jesse fan, he will return in another episode.
This episode we get a feel for Dysart's taste in action and horror in general. His knowledge on the genres is truly impressive. Then after that we dig into the Abel Ferrara classic, Ms. 45. Trigger warnings for anyone not comfortable with movies that depict sexual assault. It's an important aspect of this story.
