The role of community in healing is essential. Our guest, Eva Shaw, has found comfort and validation in both the digital and in-person community on her journey of recovery. In today’s episode, she shares her history of multiple concussions and tells us about the various tools and structures that she has found beneficial along the way.

She goes on to tell us about the physical, emotional, psychological, and cognitive repercussions of her injuries on her daily life. We dive into the effect of the injuries on Eva’s mental health and how hearing the stories of similar experiences has brought relief and comfort to her. Eva aims to offer the same reprieve to brain injury sufferers that she has found through people who advocate for those with brain injuries, and even through this podcast! We hope you join us to hear her story today.
