Jill Seibert lost her husband, Karl, to ALS, a cruel, cruel disease, in 2018. Karl was a larger than life figure and she talks about how they dealt with the diagnosis, how each of them, their sons included, forged ahead on their own paths to deal with what an ALS diagnosis meant.
She shares stories about the experiences in the two years between his diagnosis and passing, and how they all dealt with each of the phases they went through.
As hard as losing her soulmate of 25 years was, Jill eventually found love again and just recently remarried. She talks about not looking for love, but then giving herself permission to discover that part of her heart again.
Jill has some amazing life insights to share given her own cancer battle and then caring for Karl during this time. This is an episode not to miss and I hope she inspires you as much as she does me.
