Description

This video outlines some serious profit killers in sheep farming operations: the ones we encountered and 3 diseases you want to watch out for when buying sheep for your sheep farm. While sheep offer many advantages to today’s micro ranchers, the risks involved in sheep farming also need to be considered. My farm is a Dorper Sheep breeding stock operation. I am located in upper East Texas (the native tall grass prairie region) where we receive above average sunlight and rainfall. This rainfall and sunlight ratio really plays into the carrying capacity of my 23 acre farm.

Thank you for watching!
