I'm Dominic O'Sullivan a 15 year RAF Veteran who served as a Physical Training Instructor from the mid 80's. I have launched the pod to bring aspects of the transition process from the Military and some of the people who have made that transition work for them.
As we continue Series 1, highlighting the skills and traits of our Veterans, I want to introduce you to Dean Gray. He is what I call an 'Above Average Joe' and his journey takes him from 17yr old Recruit to IT Project Manager working with Blue Chip Companies.
What I loved about Dean's story was the length he would go to secure the job, (normalised in his mind by going the extra mile through his military career). His personal discipline and resilience has stayed with him from his RAF Regiment 2 Squadron days.
