Welcome to another new episode of “This One Thing” with Kerri Kenyon Dern and Crystal Wright. Our verse this week centers on God's promise to provide a lasting, perfect peace to His people. Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!”
Despite this chaotic world we live in and our own troubling doubts, God has given His unbreakable Word that He will provide and sustain us with His peace. Throughout all of human history, God has faithfully upheld this promise, evidenced in the prophesied and fulfilled plan of redemption found in His son, Jesus Christ. But how do we live victoriously in this promise? To answer this question, Kerri and Crystal discuss the connection Isaiah makes between receiving God's gift of peace, what we fix our thoughts on, and ultimately where we place our deepest trust. Together, they encourage each of us to wrestle honestly with our thoughts and beliefs, evaluating everything in light of God's truth.
