The most Mainah episode yet! Scott Dunn of the Dunn Family Farm and the Maine Maple Association joins me this week. Here is more on Scott:
I started making maple syrup in Vermont as a child with my parents over an open fire using my Great Grandfather's buckets. In high school I would help a neighbor gathering sap and boiling in his sugar house. I built a sugar house in 2013 and started boiling with my family and have grown from 75 taps our first year to 1600 currently. We sell syrup to consumers as well as wholesale to retail stores and restaurants. Currently I am the President of the Maine Maple Producers Association representing more than 200 maple producers.
