Diet culture is everywhere. It can be loud and in your face like diet juice cleanses or it can be barely noticeable like in the way someone phrases something. Ultimately though, fear mongering around food and weight gain as well as subtle forms of shame and guilt are interwoven into the fabric of diet culture that permeates our society. In this episode I call out specific examples of things that might not seem "that bad" but how their underlying message is extremely harmful. Be prepared for some hard rants in this episode.
