The world of influencers is not new, but is more prominent than ever before. When everyone was forced home, brands looked to influencers for UGC. Due to the demand of influencers for UGC, the need for them has grown exponentially. Brands have realized the impact that they have, and have allocated much more marketing dollars towards them.
