It's not easy to believe the story of Jonah and the whale, is it? We must ask ourselves: does the Bible portray this and other stories as historical or does it portray them as fables? We had a great conversation with Phil Long about the historicity of biblical tales and about the discrepancy amongst scholars on the reliability of the Bible as a historical book.
