VR Small is a Navy Veteran and founder and CEO of the Veteran Women’s Enterprise Center aka (VWEC), a national initiative launched in Dallas, Texas. VR designed the VWEC to help entrepreneurial women associated with the military access the resources they need to succeed. The center has an incubator that provides veteran women entrepreneurs cost-effective modern co-working spaces until they can afford market value office facilities. VR has developed partnerships with people, organizations, and corporations to help entrepreneurial women associated with the military build the social, and financial capital needed to effectively grow and expand their businesses. In recognition of her tireless efforts, VR earned the distinction as a 2021 Woman Veteran Trailblazer by the Department of Veteran Affairs.
