Welcome to season 2 of Down Under Theology, a podcast equipping and encouraging Australian Christians to get down and under the theology impacting the life and mission of the church.

In episode 15 we dive into the books of Jeremiah and Lamentations. Jeremiah is often called the "weeping prophet" and these books have a lot to say about God's judgement on his people because they have broken his covenant. We have a discussion about the covenant, and the hope of its renewal. We also look at the work of Lamentations and give thoughts on how to read and teach such sobering books fruitfully.

In Season 2, we'll be going over each book of the Bible, bringing out the big ideas, themes, and implications for the life and mission of the church.
