In this episode of INTO THE NOTHING, I chat with Neuroscience based practitioner, Michelle Baty, on noticing and normalising uncomfortable and overwhelming feelings when we want to make changes in life.

Particularly when we want to slow down, create space and remove things and roles in life that aren't serving us anymore.

The conversation starts with Michelle sharing her personal journey of expanding from mindset mastery to neuroscience (learning about the body) after being overcome with terror one weekend and noticing that she 'couldn't think her way out of the feeling'.

In that moment Michelle had a conversation with herself "you're smart, but you're unhappy. Where are your blindspots?" This was the catalyst for Michelle's exploration into neuroscience and how to apply it to feel better in day-to-day life.

The thing I love about Michelle is that she makes neuroscience super easy to understand and apply. In this episode, Michelle simplifies alot of sophisticated information. Here we begin to understand our nervous system - why it's doing what it's doing and why we feel the way we do.

Michelle generously shares tools and resources to support us to feel safe in our bodies to be able to slow down, be human and sit with space.
