This was one of the most challenging shows I've done. Shortly after I had begun putting the show together I got a phone call that just tore me up. A family member called to inform me of the passing of my dear friend LORETTA LYNN. I already had GEORGE STRAIT and ALAN JACKSON , JOSH TURNER AND WIL ARDEL doing what they do best but the call brought me to a standstill. But,,,,, the show must go on as is often said, so I took a deep breath and proceeded to share my fondest memories of my true friend Loretta. On an even closer to my heart note I shared with you the story of a heartbreaking loss to our Wounded Warriors , the passing of our friend and sister Irene Purcell. BOBBY HELMS "My Special Angel" and GARTH BROOKS presentation of "Unanswered Prayers" pretty much summed up my thoughts for todays show. For all my Canadian listeners , have a Blessed Thanksgiving .
