In my conversation with director, producer, choreographer and environmental activist, Kelly Ashton Todd, we dive into we can continue to create work that reflects what we care about most.
About Kelly:
Kelly Ashton Todd is a performing artist, filmmaker, and environmental activist. She received a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University 2021. She currently performs with Sleep No More, NYC. Todd’s choreography has been awarded the Brooklyn Arts Council Grant, Jerome Hill Foundation Finalist, F21 NYSCA in Media Grant, Puffin Foundation Grant, LEIMAY Fellowship, Human Impacts Institute Environmental Health Fellowship, NYFA Fellowship in Choreography, Springboard Danse Montreal Emerging Choreographer 2022, and commissioned by immersive experience Meow Wolf. Her award winning environmental dance film series, Under Review, has attended over 20 film festivals nationally and internationally.
