Just know though, si se puede.

Episode guest - Selene
Series co host - Karla

This first series guest, hit! I didn’t realize how much I needed this, I’ve learned so much just sitting in and editing this episode. So thankful and with that being said, you won’t regret listening if you’re in that hustle season.

After recording with Selene, I’ve come to realize the true power of positivity. She reminds us that kindness, and positivity is a gift, and it doesn't cost much to give it but has the potential to be life-changing. Sounds corny, but it's true. I’m sure we can all recall moments in our lives, where a kind person made all the difference in our day.. Because we never know what other people are going through. We talk about her health and hustle season and how she pushes through to find the balance to make it all happen, including overcoming self-doubt as a first generation woman of color, her goals to make kids feel inspired and more!

Just Know Though Podcast offers a safe space to discuss mental health, including topics like depression and past trauma. These conversations are not meant to focus on any individual guest, but to shed light on the difficult emotions many people face. We aim to highlight the strength and resilience required to overcome such challenges, while promoting understanding, support, and compassion. Mental health struggles are more common than we realize, and it's important to show kindness to ourselves and others.
