GROVE HILL — An 18-wheeler overturned on the curve of North Jackson Street that connects to U.S. Highway 43 on Sept. 26, according to Grove Hill police. The crash occurred around 3:40 p.m. when a semi driven by Terrance Williams of Mississippi went too fast into the curve and flipped onto its side, striking a street sign. Williams, who drives for Montgomery Transport, said he had to kick out the windshield to escape the cab.
