This episode is part Twenty-Three of the epilogue for Stanley's letters, "Dearest Ones," that he wrote to his family throughout the Second World War. Michael G. Sievers, the writer, producer and creator of "The Silver King's War" podcast series, reviews his work and father's war from November 1944 in Northern France. Stanley reports his second and third missions, and joy over a mid-month, six-letter day. The King and his guys are trading soap and cigarettes in town as they supply their midnight brunch menus. He's happy to report that his bags arrived for Thanksgiving.
