So, if you have not listened to Episodes 169-171, listen to those first, then come back to this. In 1995, Patricia Esparza was a college student attending school at Pomona University in California. She was an incredibly high achieverand would go on to become a professor of psychology at a unviersity in Geneva. However, the road there was not easy, as Patricia described being sexually abused as a child and also having been date raped while attending college. The twist in her story is that her alleged rapist wound up being hacked to death with a meat cleaver 3 weeks later. His murder investigation grew cold, but it did not go away forever
