Thanks to a grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, the Prescott Valley Police Department, in partnership with Parenting Arizona and Yavapai County Community Health Services, successfully hosted a car seat safety event on January 24, 2026, at Park Collective in Prescott Valley.
The event focused on enhancing child passenger safety by offering car seat inspections and distributing car seats to families in need who met eligibility requirements and demonstrated a clear need. During the event, certified technicians inspected more than 10 car seats, ensuring they were properly installed and met current safety standards.
PVPD extends its appreciation to Parenting Arizona and Yavapai County Community Health Services for their partnership, as well as to the families who attended and took steps to enhance child safety.
Prescott Valley Police Department can be contacted at 928-772-9267 for non-emergencies, and 911 for emergencies. Yavapai County Silent Witness is 1-800-932-3232.
