In this 3RD podcast of Yahweh’s Feasts; I will be discussing the Feast of Trumpets, or Rosh Hashanah which began on Monday Sept. 6 2021
The Holy Days have meanings that build upon each other. Together they progressively reveal how Yahweh works with humanity.
According to traditional Jewish thinking, this holiday commemorates the creation of mankind by Elohim. The Mishnah (earlier part of the Talmud) refers to Rosh Hashanah as the “Day of Judgment” (Yom ha-Din) since all of creation owes allegiance to the Creator and is accountable to Him. The name Elohim revealed in Genesis 1:1 speaks of Elohim as the Creator and Judge of the universe. In Jewish tradition on Rosh Hashanah we stand before Yahweh as our personal Creator and Judge. Many Messianic Jews believe that the sound of the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah is a symbol of the 2nd coming of the followers of Yahshua Messiah

The Apostle Paul was saturated in the study of the O.T. Prophets. He knew that the Day of the Lord was clearly understood to indicate when Yahweh would go to war at the end of the age. He also knew that it would be announced by the blowing of a Trumpet. Of equal significance is the fact that Luke informs his readers that Paul spent a year and a half in Corin. He wrote of Paul, “ and he continued there a year and 6 months, teaching the Word of Yahweh among them [Acts 18:11] It is therefore reasonable to conclude that under the guidance of Paul for 18 months [bondage, that’s to say Paul freed them from bondage], the Corinthians believers also understood the significance of the expression “The Last Trump”. When Paul told the Church ‘ex-kelsia” that one generation of believers would not die, but would be changed at “the last trump”, they would unquestionably have understood Paul to mean that the believers will be call into Yahweh’s presence before the final wrath of Yahweh will be poured out upon the earth. All 7 trumpets are part of Yahweh’s judgment of the earth at the end of this age-the last trump. [in fact if we were to look closely, we would realize that we are all ready living within those trumpets sound as of today].
In most basic terms, the Feast of Trumpets, the first of the Fall Feasts, which Yahweh gave to Israel, depicts the coming of Yahshua Messiah to take His virgin bride with Him into that eternal life, in that new Heaven and Earth!
So what can we conclude on this Feast of Trumpets? This trumpet will only sound in the fall. Yahshua can only return after that last trumpet sounds. The 2 witnesses must first walk this earth. As the first 4 Feast of Yahweh have all ready been fulfilled, we see that the last 3 must come to pass. We know in 2 Thess. that the son of Perdition must be revealed.
Yes, this is a time of celebration! Even though Yahshua may not return this year, we always look forward to the next year and so on. Always keeping the faith in His return. Researching the scriptures, so we can distinguish that false messiah from the true Messiah.
Once again, keep in mind that Yahshua can only return in that harvest time, the fall season. In fact Yahshua tells us in Matt 24:20, “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:” Why? Because winter comes “after the harvest”! Other words, you missed, you missed the true Messiah coming for His virgin bride.
Something to think about, if the Feast of Trumpets is Rosh Hashanah could we say that hearing that last trumpet sound, is the start or beginning towards that 3rd world age? Where we live eternally with Father and the Son?
