In this study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most mainstream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul’s writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-7. I will discuss “What is the mystery of iniquity that’s already at work” 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7. I will go into great detail on these verses, taking a deep look on who this ‘mystery of iniquity’. I will be sharing with you the Greek verbiage contained in the Greek manuscript!

Verse 6 καὶ νῦν τὸ κατέχον οἴδατε, εἰς τὸ ἀποκαλυφθῆναι αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ ἑαυτοῦ καιρῷ.
‘nun’ = (noon) Now
‘Oidate’ = (i-do) Know
Verse 7 τὸ γὰρ μυστήριονἤδη ἐνεργεῖται τῆς ἀνομίας, μόνον ὁ κατέχων ἄρτι ἕως ἐκ μέσου γένηται·
Mystery (G3466) ‘μυστήριον’ (mustērion) (moos-tay’-ree-on) From a derivative of μύω muō (to shut the mouth); a secret or “mystery” (through the idea of silenceimposed by initiation into religious rites): - mystery.
Iniquity (G458) ‘ἀνομία’ (anomia) (an-om-ee’-ah) From G459; illegality, that is, violation of law or (generally) wickedness: - iniquity, X transgress (-ion of) the law, unrighteousness.
Work (G1754) ‘ἐνεργέω’ (energeō) (en-erg-eh’-o) From G1756; to be active, efficient: - do, (be) effectual (fervent), be mighty in, shew forth self, work (effectually in).
The “mystery of iniquity” would seem to be, from the original Greek, speaking to the silent wickedness that is already prevalent. I personally believe this to be the spirit behind secret societies that have been working behind the scenes to set up all the things that we know must come to pass to bring about a one-world government and religious system under the control of the antichrist. A little history of the mystery of iniquity shows how ideas becoming prevalent through societal norms have caused a blindness regarding this wickedness by attacking and bringing doubt to Yahweh’s Word.
Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’
But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
