In this continuing study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most mainstream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul’s writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison as we get deeper into this study.
In this Part 8 I re-read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-7;
Some of the verses/writings that I use: 1 Thess. 4:13-17; 1 Corin. 15:52; Revelation 11:8-15;
In this 1 Thess. 4:13-17, Paul answers their question about the dead, other words those that are asleep.
Note once again in verse 17 the word ‘air’. In the Greek this word is ‘ah-ayr’ NOT ‘oo-ran-os’ as in Matthew 6:26. BIG difference in the Greek manuscripts! Keep in mind that Paul was under the influence of the Holy Spirit, so Paul was NOT talking about a meeting in the sky, but the changing of our bodies from flesh to spiritual.
Note the trumpet sound in verse 16 is the very same trumpet sound as Paul writes in 1 Corin. 15:52. Note the changing of the bodies. Once again in 1 Corin. Paul is asked about the dead. Matter of fact this trumpet sound is also the same one in Rev. 11:15!
My take on this subject is, that in my personnel research I find NO scriptures that talks about a pre-trib rapture. Contrary to what is taught in the majority of Churches, I have found numerous sources that state very clearly that we WILL go through the tribulation period! In this study and the coming studies of will present to you these sources.
Today we live in a world where biblical absolutes are ignored, and unless we return to these biblical truths, our nation will continue to decline.
To understand how we have arrived at this appalling situation, we need to go back a century and look at the influence of five intellectual leaders who still profoundly affect the modern world.
The first person is Charles Darwin (1809-1882).
The second person is Karl Marx (1818-1883).
The third person is Julius Wellhausen (1844-1918).
The fourth person is Sigmund Freud (1856-1939).
A fifth person is John Dewey (1859-1952).

Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’
But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
