In this week’s study, I continue in Chapter 16 verses 4 to 9. However, once again before I begin I go into this study I go into a rant on some of the current events that affected our daily life, discussing Benjamin Netanyahu comment that he made in March 2015 at Finks Bar in Jerusalem. I talk about Jay Parker and his revelation about Joe Biden worshipping ‘Andras the Marquee of Hell.’
How do we know that the events remaining in the 7th Vial – great earthquake, Babylon is judged, mountains and islands are moved and great hail – are what happens at Armageddon? All we have to do is compare them with Ezekiel 38:18-22. Ezekiel 38 is the Battle of Gog and Magog. We compared this with the 7th Vial and found that it was one and the same. In both cases there is a great earthquake, mountains and islands move and there are great hailstones. We definitely know that the items remaining in the 7th Vial are Armageddon!
In chapter 11, we saw that the two witnesses in Jerusalem will be prophesying and pronouncing plagues upon the earth during the 1260 days of the great tribulation (Rev 11:3), and those plagues shall do enormous harm to the earth. The plagues will stop when Antichrist finally succeeds in killing the two witnesses (Rev 11:7). In response to their deaths, the unbelieving world bursts into joyous celebration. In their minds, Antichrist will have saved the world. For the unbelieving world, this will be a time of victory, relief, and praise for Antichrist.
However, the celebrations will last for just three and one-half days. It ends abruptly when those two witnesses return to life. A voice from heaven calls “Come up here“, the two witnesses ascend into a cloud, and Jerusalem experiences a great earthquake (Rev 11:12-13).
The 1260 days in which the two witnesses served on earth corresponds to the 42 months given for Antichrist to reign on earth (Rev 13:5). When the two witnesses ascend to heaven, it marks the conclusion of both (1) their 1260 days of service and (2) Antichrist’s 42 months to reign as king.
As Antichrist’s reign ends, Yahshua Messiah’s reign begins (Rev 11:17).
The 3rd Vial
4. Upon the rivers and fountains of waters - This is an allusion to the first Egyptian plague, Exod.7:20;
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say = The angel who presides over the element of water;
Thou art righteous, O Lord = In view of the judgments that reddened these streams and fountains with the blood of people, the angel ascribes righteousness to Yahweh.
Which art, and wast, and shalt be = That is, who art eternal - existing now; who hast existed in all past time; and who will exist ever onward. See Rev. 1:8.
6 they = those who had the mark and worshipped the image
For they have shed the blood of saints = The nations here referred to. They have been engaged in scenes of bloody persecution, and this is a just reward. Once again this is those that worked for Satan in the role of the 2 world beast system, the New World Order and the False religion.
And prophets = Teachers of Yahshua Messiah; ministers of truth.
The Fourth Vial
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun = Toward the sun, or so as to reach the sun
9 And men were scorched with great heat = Burned with rage against the followers of Yahshua Messiah;
