our study this morning, the kings in verse 10 and the traders in verse 16 seemed only aware of themselves and their own loss. Their sad words about Babylon seem completely selfish. Beginning with this verse 20 we now see the rejoicing of the souls praising Yahweh for avenging them over this Babylonia Beast System.
20 Rejoice over her = Over her ruin.
Thou heaven = The inhabitants of heaven. Could these be those saints of Chapter 6 beginning with verse 4? Keep in mind that in that part of Chapter 6 we are in the 5th seal. We learned from a previous study that the Wrath of Yahweh is the 6th Seal, 7th Trumpet and 7 Vials. According to Mathew 24:29, the Wrath of Yahweh begins immediately after the Great Tribulation. According to Ezekiel 38:18-22, it’s when the Battle of Armageddon is fought
For Yahweh hath avenged you on her = Has taken vengeance on her for her treatment of you.
21 Took up a stone like a great millstone = (mulos onikos), literally, “a millstone turned by an ass.” The upper millstone was turned by an ass (onos).
And cast it into the sea = As an emblem of the utter ruin of the city; an indication that the city would be as completely destroyed as that stone was covered by the waters.
Saying, Thus with violence = With force, as the stone was thrown into the sea.
22 And no craftsman, = That is, artificers of all kinds would cease to ply their trades there. The word used here - τεχνίτης technitēs - would include all artisans or mechanics, all who were engaged in any kind of trade or craft. The meaning here is, that all these would disappear, an image, of course, of utter decay.
Now I mentioned the word ‘artificers’.
In Gen 4:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
Artificer = ‘kho-rashe'’Active participle of ‘khaw-rash’; a fabricator or mechanic:
‘khaw-rash'’ = A primitive root; to scratch, that is, (by implication) to engrave, plough; hence (from the use of tools) to fabricate (of any material); figuratively to devise (in a bad sense); hence (from the idea of secrecy) to be silent, to let alone
In 2Sa 5:11 it reads; ‘And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and they built David an house
In the Hebrew the word masons is ‘khaw-rawsh'’

of whatsoever craft = ‘tekh'-nay’From the base of ‘tik-to’; art (as productive),
tik'-to =A strengthened from of a primary word τέκω tekō (which is used only as an alternate in certain tenses); to produce (from seed, as a mother, a plant, the earth, etc.), literal or figurative. Could this be technology in which Artifical Intellignece come from. Maybe the technology that Satan used to deceive the whole world especially when it come to healing the wound there in Chapter 13?
