In this week’s study, I continue in Chapter 3, with the Church of Laodicea
I continue with Dennis Cuddy ‘Religion and Government’ Part 4, where Dennis finishes up his writing on how the deep state has been creating a diabolical system through the churches to destroy the churches without the churches knowing!
Laodicea means justice of the people. The one here addressed was on the confines of Phrygia and Lydia, about forty miles east of Ephesus, and was known as Laodicea on the Lycus. For the seven churches lay in a kind of circular form, so that the natural progress was from Ephesus to Smyrna, and so forward in the order in which the cities are here addressed, which probably was the order in which St. John used to visit them. In the vicinity was the temple of Men Karou and was a famous school of medicine, in which Phrygian powder was produce for medicine for the eyes.
Amen = The Yahweh of Amen means the Yahweh of truth, as stated in Deut. 7:9 : “Know ye therefore that Yahweh thy Elohim, he is Elohim, the faithful Elohim, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.” The repeated expression the faithful and true witness, refers to the things of the apocalypse -the absolute certainty of all the announcements made by his angels and agents in all of the visions. When Yahshua Messiah said this word; “Amen” the Jews were probably mad. For Yahshua was slapping them in their face. Why? Read Isa. 65:16
Faithful = “pistos” trustworthy. As “the Amen” expresses the unchangeable truth of His promises; so “the faithful the true witness,” the truth of His revelations as to the heavenly things which, He has seen and testifies.
The beginning of the creation of God; = This could be reference to that verse in Deut. 7:9. The reminder that he is the beginning of the creation of Yahweh/Elohim is the same in substance as that he is Alpha and Omega or in Hebrew the “eth” (Alphe/Tav), meaning that he is the beginning as well as the end, the first as well as the last.
There are deeds that the Lord requires of us linked to our faith. There are also deeds that are useless, even evil works. They are done by those who think they can buy their salvation with works.
If Christians were hot, they would be zealous for the Lord, showing the works of the Father through their faith. If they are cold then the Holy Spirit might convict them of their sins and bring them to salvation. But they are lukewarm! They think they are Christians, they use Christian words, the do works that look like Christians works, they may even do miracles and signs and wonders. Because they consider themselves to be Christians, even rich spiritually, they can no longer respond to the conviction and teaching of the Holy Spirit. There is nothing left for Yahshua Messiah to do but to judge them. This is like a last warning for the lukewarm church and Christians of today.
My intention is to take this study to a deep level. Deeper than most of you are used to! I am asking no one to agree with me; however I do ask that you check every detail that I present out for yourself.
Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’
But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
