In this week’s study, I finish up in Chapter 4 and begin with Chapter 5, with the Vision still taking place in heaven. John describing what he is seeing in that Heavenly Throne room.
In our last study we were looking at the 4 living beasts mentioned in verse 6.
There are many different interpretations or symbolisms taken about these 4 beast. But keeping it simple we can conclude the following:
Four beasts/living creatures = Cherubim. These heavenly beings are described in similar language in Isaiah 6:2. Ezekiel 10:20 clearly identifies "living creatures" as cherubim. “This is the living creature that I saw under the Elohim of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.”
Don't overlook the fact that we are been shown some super natural events taking place in heaven!
Note:
1. The beasts/living creatures do not cease to say = Not only are the Cherubim everywhere watching, but they are always praising Yahweh. This is a fabulous job. Don’t over look the supernatural here; The natural human being responses this way: “it must get tiresome after a while”. While the Angelic response is: “it’s never tiresome when Yahweh is the object of praise. Wait until you see Him.”
2. The Almighty = panto (all) krator (powerful) = is the first self-designation Yahweh used for Himself in the Bible. Genesis 17:1 records, "Now when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, 'I am the Almighty GOD, “EL Shaddai (shad-dah'ee)” (Shaddai is in every instance translated "Almighty", and is indicated by small capital letters ("ALMIGHTY"). It is God ( El ), not as the source of strength, but of grace ; not as Creator, but as the Giver . Shaddai is the All-bountiful. This title does not refer to His creative power, but to His power to supply all the needs of His people. Its first occurrence is in Gen. 17:1, and is used to show Abraham that He Who called him out to walk alone before Him could supply all his need. Even so it is the title used in 2Corin. 6:18, where we are cal 1000 led to "come out" in separation from the world. It is always used in connection with El)…'" This title assures Abram that HE Who had called him was almighty to supply all his needs. Once again this is the first occurrence in the Bible of this title.

My intention is to take this study to a deep level. Deeper than most of you are used to! I am asking no one to agree with me; however I do ask that you check every detail that I present out for yourself.
Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’
But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
