In this week’s study, we continue our study in Chapter 6 with the 2nd Seal.
In our prior studies of Chapters 4 & 5, we learned about the Lamb who was worthy to open up the Book. Question that we must ask ourselves, when did Yahshua Messiah begin to open this scroll?
There is a key that unlocks the mystery of Revelation. It has been theorized that Rev. was written in chronological order. This means that events will occur in the sequence they are written. Unfortunately, with this as a fundamental assumption it will be impossible to understand this great Book. This is because the chronological order theory is flawed. You are about to discover why!
3. I heard the second beast say, come and see = this living creature was the ox, who was positioned on the west side of the throne, and is the standard of Ephraim. By the way in Numbers Chapter 2 verse 18 we read that Ephraim was on the west of the camp of Israel. Also note that there is no mention of the noise of thunder, as before, the voice of the ox being lower than that of the lion.
4. red = judgment, Satan. Judgment on true Christians, this is war! Keep in mind that this is the color of Edom, which is Russia of today. Red could also be in connection with Communism or Socialism. Nations that embrace this are called “red nations”. Communist Soviets were commonly called “Reds, while China is also known as “red China”. Another thought on this red horse it the fact that it could be those Arab nations that come against Israel. Keep in mind that when the wars between the Arabs and Christians took place, that the armies of the Arabs would take cloth and dipped it in the blood of Christians and then would wear them as a token of victory! In fact the Masonic Shiner’s wear these even today on their hats, known as “fez”.
Keep in mind that Esau (red) married into the tribe of Ishmael (who is the father of the Arab tribes). Gen. 28:6-9; 36:1-4, 10, 13, 17 (don’t overlook the land of Canaan! This is the area where the giants, offspring of the fallen angels and the daughters of ‘et-hadawm’.
Power = should read “it” Now if this “red” horse is symbolic of Esau, can you tell me, where he gets his power from? Yes! Esau, Satan, those evil spirits!
Peace = not only world peace, but also that Peace that was given to us from Yahshua Messiah. Romans 5:10; 1:7, 15; 14:17, 15:13, 33; Job 21:21; Psa. 85:8-10, 122:6; Isa._27:5, 32:17, 54:13, 55:12, 57:19-21; Zech. 6:13; Luke 2:14, 10:5, 10:6; 19:38, 42; John 14:27, 16:33; Acts 10:36; 2Corin. 5:18-20; Eph. 2:14-17; Col. 1:20, 3:15; 1Thess. 5:23; 2Thess. 3:16; Heb. 13:20; James 2:23
From = “ek” out from
that they should kill = The Greek is indicative future, “that they may, as they also shall, kill one another.”
One another = Mark 13:9-12. This prophecy says that those controlled by this red spirit would kill one another. It has been estimated that 80 million plus Chinese have been killed in political purges in China since the Communists took over in 1948. [what else took place in 1948? [Israel becoming a nation, parable of the Fig tree] Is that a sign of the coming end times?] It is estimated that 20 million were killed in political purges in Russia by Josef Stalin. Everywhere Communist revolution goes there is bloodshed and death.
Great sword = What greater military might exists in the world today then the combined power of Russia and China? Is there a nation that would like to go to war against these 2 giants?! The red spirit which takes peace from the earth is Communism.
