In this week’s study, I finish up in Chapter 9 pertaining to the 6th Trumpet Sound beginning with verse 16, with the army of the horsemen.
16 Were two hundred thousand thousand = A thousand thousand is one million, and consequently the number here referred to would be 200 million.
17. And thus I saw the horses in the vision - That is, he saw them as he proceeds to describe them, for the word “thus” - οὕτως houtōs - refers to what follows.
And them that sat on them = He fixed the attention on horse and rider. Their appearance was unusual, and deserved a particular description
Out of their mouths proceedeth fire and smoke and brimstone = This is a destroying power.
19. for the power of the horses is in their mouth, and in their tails : for their tails are like serpents, having heads, and with them they do injure
This is the description of these supernatural beings. They are not human. They come from below. We know of nothing like them.

20 that they should not worship devils = the word devil in the Greek is ‘dahee-mon'-ee-on’. [Neuter of a derivative of ‘dah'ee-mown’From δαίω daiō (to distribute fortunes); a demon or super natural spirit (of a bad nature)];
21 Sorceries = Check this word out in the Greek. “far-mak-i'-ah” [From “pharmakeus” ‘far-mak-yoos' From φάρμακον pharmakon (a drug, that is, spell giving potion); a druggist (“pharmacist”) or poisoner, that is, (by extension) a magician: - sorcerer.]; medication (“pharmacy”), that is, (by extension) magic (literal or figurative): - sorcery, witchcraft.
We get our English word “pharmacy” and “pharmaceuticals” from this; and it can refer to mind altering drugs that will, no doubt, be a part of the worship of that day. But it also refers to amulets, charms, séances, contacting mediums, magic spells, witchcraft, incantations. In other words, the full gamut of satanic religious options.

Do we see porno throughout the world today?
Dear friends, all of these forms of evil are available on the satanic smorgasbord of idolatry. We see it today right here in our world. .
A day of vengeance is coming. It has been fixed in the counsels of a holy and a sovereign Yahweh. And if the warning of these judgments have no effect on you, I fear that your heart is hard, and unless you deal with your sin, the Lord will judicially harden it forever.
For those of us who know that this Word is faithful and true, our calling to evangelism should be stronger, our hope more blessed, our faith more certain, our worship should be more informed and our praise for his saving grace more energetic. May the Spirit of Yahweh fix these truths in our minds and establish them in our hearts to the praise of his glory.
