In this week’s study, I finish up in Chapter 12.
THE RESULT "ON EARTH" OF THE "WAR IN HEAVEN."
In today’s study we are in verses 16 and 17. Here we read that John sees the earth helping the woman flee from the dragon.
I go into a rant about Donald Trump using the MAGA slogan comparing it to what lies within the Church of Satan. The Official Church of Satan founded by Anton Lavey in 1966 and which obviously predates any Trump campaign slogans like "MAGA" has on its page about their hierarchy something interesting.

PRIESTHOOD OF MENDES
These are the individuals who act as spokespersons for the philosophy of the Church of Satan, which include the titles of “Priest”/“Priestess,” “Magister”/“Magistra,” “Magus”/“Maga.” Members of the Priesthood make up the Council of Nine, which is the ruling body of the organization, appointed by and responsible to the High Priest/Priestess. The Order of the Trapezoid consists of the individuals who assist in the administration of the Church of Satan. Members of our Priesthood are people of accomplishment in the real world—they have mastered skills and have won peer recognition, which is how they have attained their position—“as above, so below.”
So far in this Chapter 12 it has described the events of what will happen in the career of Satan during this time, after he has been permanently expelled from heaven, cast from heaven down to earth as we studied last week. And because of his embarrassing defeat and because he knows that his time is short according to verse 12 of chapter 12, he will be absolutely furious with rage, and he will vent his bad temper on Israel whom Yahweh will supernaturally protect and ultimately reconcile unto himself and finally establish them in their land in their long anticipated kingdom.
The Dragon, as soon as he is cast down into the earth, at once proceeds to make war with the Woman, and the remnant of her seed.
In our last study we read about the dragon/serpent/Satan/Lucifer/devil being cast out of heaven thrown to this earth. In his anger, the devil leashes an all out war against those that have put their faith in the King of Kings Lord of Lords, Yahshua Messiah. In verse 15 we see the serpent, through the activity of the antichrist and his forces, sweeping like a mighty flood toward Israel that have been delivered now miraculously into the wilderness.
But notice the Lord’s glorious protection in verse 16.
16. And the earth helped the woman = By opening itself, and taking in what the serpent cast out, so that it could not reach the woman, and annoy her.
and the earth opened her mouth; = as it did when it swallowed up Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, Num. 16:30t.
17. And the dragon was wroth with the woman = This wrath had been vented by his persecuting her in verse 13; by his pursuing her; and by his pouring out the flood of water to sweep her away in verse 15; and the same wrath was now vented against her children.
Which keep the commandments of Yahweh = Who were true Christians.
And have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah = That is, they bore a faithful testimony to his truth, or were real martyrs. Once again allow me to bring up a point. If the Churches of today teach a rapture doctrine, how can we read here in this Chapter 12 of Satan still trying to destroy Yahweh’s elect?
