In this week’s study, I continue in verse 10 beginning with ‘great voice’. Some of the verses that I use are, Zephaniah 1:14-16; Matthew 25; Romans 1:16-28; Enoch 46:1-4; 48:2-10. I give an intro to the 7 Churches of Asia Minor. (Will get deeper in Chapters 2 and 3)
Here are some of my notes from these verses.
10 Now we come to the verse in which I believe sets the foundation for this book of the Apocalypse of Yahshua Messiah. This is why I went to great lengths in that verse 7, when we discussed the “clouds”, showing you the links of the importance of clouds contained within the Words of Yahweh. Many of the Churches of today, especially those that teach that false doctrine of “rapture” [any moment now, caught up in the sky] will try to convince you that this Lord’s Day, is Sunday. This is a false teaching. What is this book about? Is it not about that coming, that revealing, that return of Yahshua Messiah? When we study Yahweh’s Words, we must always keep the topic, subject in focus. What is the topic? The return of Yahshua Messiah! Who is the subject? Yahshua Messiah! What is the object? The day of His return! Therefore John became present on that day when the Lord of Lords and King of Kings was to return. John is given us an insight on what to expect of to that glorious day!
Great voice = read Rev. 16:1. Isn’t it ironic that this is the same voice that John heard hear while he was within the Spirit?
Trumpet = Now in the O.T. the trumpet is connected with war and the Day of the Lord.
Many times, if you are a regular listener, you will hear me say that Hebrew Word ‘eth’, which is made up of 2 Hebrew letters the Aleph and the Tav. These letters are the first and last of the Hebrew Alphabet.
When you take these 2 letters back to the ancient Hebrew you find something very interesting.
Aleph = is a picture of an ox head and it means strength, strong, power, leader
Tav = is a picture of 2 sticks crossed and it means a sign, covenant seal, mark and cross
The Aleph-Tav is the strength of the covenant of the cross. Only Yahshua Messiah can make that Claim!!!!!!!!!
Allow me to clear up some things before I begin. First of all you will hear me use the words Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah instead of God and Jesus Christ. I found out through the years that the word God may not necessarily mean the same to everyone. For instance, in Freemasonry the number 1 requirement is that you believe in a God. Doesn’t matter what religion you are as long as you believe in a God. I personally like to use these words Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah. To me this puts me in a closer spiritual relationship with our Creator. I am not a so called Messianic Teacher! I come to realize that every time I inhale or exhale I am saying Yahweh. Try saying Yahweh and see if you are not inhaling and exhaling. After all we our created in His image!
My intention is to take this study to a deep level. Deeper than most of you are used to! I am asking no one to agree with me; however I do ask that you check every detail that I present out for yourself.
Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’
But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
