Nowadays the word infectious understandably has some negative connotations. What we are talking about in this episode however, is how we can powerfully impact others by deepening our understanding of ourselves.
When we better understand and acknowledge why we do what we do, it gives us the insight and compassion to better relate to others. The ability to cultivate a deeper relationship with ourselves and others can transform our lives in profound ways. Sometimes that requires us to face aspects of our personality that are painful, even detrimental.
Yet, confronting these aspects of ourselves although difficult, can be powerfully transformative. Most of the things we want in our lives depend on the quality of our communication. Communication is the key to or the lock on our ability to form rewarding and lasting relationships. Meaningful relationships are not possible, or at the very least sustainable without vulnerability and authenticity.
