The party has escaped an encounter with strange, fishlike men who claimed to be serving the will of something called the Deep Watcher. In the tenuous safety of an unfamiliar basement, the party attempts to catch their breath. As each question they answer poses two more in its place, the scholar, the seeker, the zealot, and the killer begin to wonder if they will ever discover what ties all these events together…
