In the final week of our first trimester theme, "God and Family First", we discussed the great blessings that come from being a part of God's family. The questions we discussed in our groups are as follows:
1) Discuss practical blessings that come from being in God’s family in each of the
following areas. Also, contrast each area with that of a physical family.
God as our Father
There is power in numbers (Mark 10:28-30)
Eternal relationship (Romans 8:16-17)
2) What are the benefits of thinking about: Where we were before becoming a
member of God’s family, and what God did to make that available to us?
(Galatians 4:1-7)
3) What are some obstacles to seeing and treating our spiritual brothers and sisters
as a part of our family?
4) What are some practical things that will take place if we are able to view our
spiritual brothers and sisters as a part of our family?
