Jesus is interested in our hearts. When our hearts are aligned with Him then our actions will follow. The Jews had perverted God's law in such a way that they had begun looking at it backwards....check the boxes and your relationship with God will be what it should. Jesus shakes things up as He begins challenging their way of thinking and their understanding of righteousness!
