Austin is also the Author of How To Fly: Leadership Lessons From Legends. How to Fly is about confronting and winning life’s many challenges by achieving self-efficacy to take control of your destiny and be a leader – not a loser.
In How To Fly, Austin suggests that the leadership lessons he learned over the past 60 years remain as valid today as they did in the sixties, seventies and eighties. His mission in sharing the lessons learned is to help everyone become a ‘can-do’ person by achieving self efficacy.
In the book Austin recounts leadership lessons from his time working with 20 Aussie business pioneers including: Bob Jane, Christopher Skase, Kerry Packer, John Singleton and more.
Austin is currently writing his second book, "Metabolic Pathways." Whilst launching an all new advisory venture in 2022 supporting entrepreneurs battling the hardships of surviving and thriving in a post-pandemic world.
